Covid-19! No wonder has impacted everyone’s life in some way or the other. Everyone is locked in their houses for nearly a year and trying to cope up with the situation and manage their life better.

It has its roots strong even now, and tables can turn the other way around yet again if preventions are not taken seriously. We know everyone is getting vaccinated, things are slowly getting under our control, but taking steps slowly and wisely will be very helpful to everyone. There has been a lot that came as a parcel that we did not order.

The Problems followed with Covid-19

The major concern which the pandemic has made is faced losses.

The losses faced by everyone in this pandemic are huge, the loss faced in business to the loss of jobs and steady income. People are now trying to submit fake documents to ensure they get any job possible.

This raises questions for documents submitted by every individual to not encounter any fraud. We understand that the situation is worse but cheating can never be an option. The necessity of ensuring credible candidates in this situation is even more. What is also important is to get the covid-19 screening of the candidate and have a healthy work environment.

We as a Background Verification Company have always followed a set of procedures for verifying the prospective candidate and ensuring all the documents submitted are true.

Now, with the Covid-19 spread, there are a set of instructions issued by the government to reduce the risk of infection. Following them is mandatory for the smooth functioning of work everywhere.

Hence, we also have made an addition to our procedure, while we scrutinize an individual, and advise others to also follow the process.

Let us begin with,

The CDC “Centre of Disease Control & Prevention” has given a list of questions to be asked, to reduce the spread of Novel Coronavirus anywhere! Employers or the Background Verification Companies, need to get information regarding certain things from the candidate before hiring.

The Set of Covid Screening Questions for Employees are:

  1. Have you experienced any symptoms in the past 48 hours?
  2. Are you isolating or quarantining because you tested positive for COVID-19 or are worried that you may be sick with COVID-19?
  3. Are you fully vaccinated?
  4. Have you recovered from a documented COVID-19 infection in the last 3 months?
  5. Are you currently waiting on the results of a COVID-19 test?
  6. Have you traveled in the past 10 days?

With answers to these questions, the companies can at least ensure the current status of an individual’s health and try to postpone the hiring of the candidate. We would even suggest screening the employees that were hired earlier in the organization. A re-screening of the employees based on the covid-19 criteria and ensure a safe working organization.

To end with, we would conclude by saying, the more closely you interact with others and the longer that interaction, the higher the risk of COVID-19 spread.
